The county planning staff (Permit Sonoma) went over their plans for a new Vacation Rental Ordinance that will encompass the entire county. First the Local Coastal Plan (LCP) needs to be finalized. Then the VR Ordinance – the “Coastal Zone” portion – can be finalized and approved by county officials and the CA Coastal Commission.
In the meantime, the PRMD continues to take public comments on either the LCP or the VR Ordinance plans. The next Planning Commission meeting is 1/13/2022.
